Salmonella Typhi Ty21a Live Antigen Delayed Release Oral Capsule (TYPHOID VACCINE ENTERIC-COATED CAPSULE - ORAL)

Instructions

Swallow the medicine without crushing or chewing it.

Do not use if the pouch containing the medicine is torn or damaged.

Keep the medicine in its original container.

Take the medicine without food.

Take this medicine 1 hour before a meal.

Take the medicine only with cool or cold liquids. Do not take with hot liquids.

Space doses evenly to keep a steady amount of medicine in the body.

Keep the medicine in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.

Keep the medicine away from heat and light.

If you miss a dose, contact your doctor for instructions.

Drug interactions can change how medicines work or increase risk for side effects. Tell your health care providers about all medicines taken. Include prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal medicines. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist before starting or stopping any medicine.

Keep using this medicine for the full number of days that it is prescribed. Do not stop the medicine even if you start to feel better.

The course of vaccine treatment should be completed at least 1 week before possible exposure to typhoid fever.
